Adelita Garza

Adelita (Cruz) Garza was born August 13, 1921, in Jourdanton, Texas to Bernadina Uribe Cruz and Innociente Cruz, she was one of eleven children. Adelita married Alejos Flores Garza Sr. on august 8, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas. They welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Gracie Ann Garza on November 8, 1957. Two years later they welcomed their second daughter Adelinda Marie Garza (Linda Clary) born on April 10, 1959. They finished out their family with a son, Alejos Garza Jr., born March 28, 1960.
She was a homemaker for most of her life. They established many residences from Texas, Chicago, Michigan, and finally settled in Oklahoma City in 1995, to be close to her daughter Linda and her four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers, and he daughter Gracie Ann Garza. She is survived by her husband Alejos F. Garza Sr. of 70 years, daughter Linda Clary (fiancé Patrick Poteet) and son Alejos Garza Jr., as well as two sisters Marcelina Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas, Soledad Cruz (Shirley) of San Antonio, Texas, and four granddaughters; Justina M. Clary (Towery) husband Danny Towery of Wayne, Ok, Ashley A. Clary of Moore, Ok, Stacey R. Clary (Lumley) and husband Jeremy Lumley of Newcastle, OK, Dawnita F. Clary (Pierce) and husband Chase C. Pierce of Oklahoma City, OK, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
