Lavelle Dinwiddie, 87, passed away August 29, 2017. She was born January 31, 1930 in Pampa, TX to Irvin and Audrey Fleming. During her life, Lavelle owned a Century 21 office in south Oklahoma City where she sold real estate and insurance for 26 years. Later, she worked in the management office at Crossroads Mall for 5 years before retiring. In her free time, Lavelle enjoyed arts and crafts, and most recently making jewelry.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Larry Allen Rodgers, and Dr. Marvin Dale Rodgers and wife Marilyn; grandchildren: Matthew, Mason, and Drew Rodgers; great grandchildren: Sophia Reese, Adleigh Lucille, Maddox Dale, Wilson Matthew, Liam Mason, and Mitchell Drew; and sister, Wilma Grace Cox.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12-8pm, with family present from 6-8pm. A celebration of Lavelle’s life will be held 2pm Friday at New Hope Christian Church, 12323 S Pennsylvania Ave.
