Kathleen Pritchard

March 31, 1951 ~ May 23, 2017 (age 66) 66 Years Old
After 66 years of being faithful to her calling of serving others, Kathleen “Kathy” Louise Pritchard went to be with her Lord, her father and her brother Greg, on May 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City. Kathy was born to the union of Arlis “Jack” and Loveanna Ray Rolland on March 31, 1951 in Oklahoma City. She went on to graduate from U.S. Grant High School in 1969 before attending Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Oklahoma. While attending Sunnyside Baptist Church she met the love of her life; she and James “Jim” Pritchard were married on July 1, 1972. Kathy served in the preschool ministries of many churches including Sunnyside, Moore First Baptist and Eagle Heights. While her daughters were in school Kathy proudly served as homeroom mom for each of their classes. She enjoyed traveling which enabled her hobby of collecting many different trinkets. In recent years Kathy developed a deep passion for exploring her family’s genealogy; however, her biggest joy in life remained caring for young children which brought her many, many years of happiness. Because of Robin's special needs, Kathy devoted a significant amount of her life to Robin's care and over the past 15 years was blessed by the assistance of Jessica Tobias along with her husband Mikie and daughter Darbie. Kathy leaves in God’s care her mother Loveanna, her husband Jim, her two daughters Robin Pritchard and Julie LaFollette and her husband Rob, her sister Barbara Boydstun and her husband Bob, her two precious grandchildren Anna and Ethan LaFollette, six nephews and one niece; Scott Pritchard, Brian Pritchard, Justin Rolland, Jarod Rolland, Brian Boydstun, Brittany Frymire and Brad Boydstun, her brother-in-law Don Pritchard and sister-in-law Debbi Rolland as well as many other dear family members, friends, and countless children whose lives Kathy touched forever. On Friday evening from 6pm – 8pm the family will receive friends at the funeral home. Then please join the family in celebrating Kathy’s life Saturday morning the 27th of May at 10 AM, in the Chapel at Resthaven. Please consider honoring Kathy’s life with memorial contributions made to The Children’s Center 6800 NW 39th Expy, Bethany, OK 73008.
