Jonathan Daniel Trotter, 33, passed from this life October 5, 2017. He was born November 26, 1983 in Oklahoma City to James and Suzanne Trotter. Jon attended both N.W. Classen High School and U.S. Grant High School and was currently employed with the City of Oklahoma City.

In his free time, Jon enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He had a compassionate heart and was well-known to help anyone in need, regardless of what his own schedule looked like. He also had an affection for animals of all kinds. Simply put, Jon lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Ray Blevins; and paternal grandparents: Leroy and Billie Trotter.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, parents, James and Suzanne Trotter; brothers, Jimmy Trotter and Joe Litke; sisters, Devon Sawyer and husband Micah, Melissa Colclough, and Jennifer Trotter; nieces: Seanna Sawyer, Baylee Trotter, and Briana Colclough; and maternal grandmother, Marceline Blevins.

A memorial ceremony to celebrate Jon’s life will be held 2pm Tuesday, October 17 in the Chapel at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a local no-kill animal shelter in Jon's honor.
