Jonathan Dees of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 7, 2017, at the age of 18. He was born at St. Frances Hospital on August 26, 1998, the same hospital in which his father and sister were born. Jonathan was an exceptional young man, who began reading at age 3, and continued his love of reading and literature throughout his life. As he continued to grow, he was home schooled by his mother from Kindergarten through twelfth grade, and began taking college classes in his junior year. After graduation, he went on to study Computer Engineering at Oklahoma Christian University. Jonathan was also exceptional, in that though he was a third degree black belt, he was the most gentle and tenderhearted person that we ever knew.

Jonathan was a talented artist, a devoted brother, and a loving son. He was always willing to give what he had to help others. His unique sense of banter was intelligent and witty, and could make even the most stoic person laugh. Jonathan’s presence, generosity, and humor will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Julie and Brett Dees, his sister, Jessica Dees, all of Oklahoma City, his maternal grandparents, Kay and George Williams of Yukon, his paternal grandparents, Jane and Jon Dees of Edmond, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, close family members, and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Friday, March 10 at Victory Family Church in Norman.
