Henry Clayton Dye left his earthly home March 8, 2017 at the age of 84. He was born March 17, 1932 in Kansas to Robert and Anna (Thompson) Dye.

Henry proudly served in the United States Army for four years and later worked for the City of Oklahoma City Water Department; he retired as a maintenance supervisor in 1987 after 30 years of service. Henry enjoyed working on cars, camping and traveling, and playing card games with his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lenora Dye; son in law, Junior Choate; and numerous brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: children: Peggy and husband James, Julie, Virginia, Henrietta, and Henry (Kristina); grandchildren: Tara and husband John, Carol and husband Kevin, Ashley and fiancé Braden, Patricia and husband Kyle, Kimberly and husband Andy, Gary Lee and wife Darla, Kierston, Caitlyn, and Eric; great grandchildren: Wesley, Cody, Levi, Jasmine, Jayden, Cadey, Dylan, Matthew, Elijah, and Afton.

Visitation will be held Sunday 1:30-8:00pm. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held 1pm Monday, in Resthaven’s Little Chapel of the Roses.
