I was in Harold's graduating class at U.S. Grant. He was just a great kid with a great smile and a hello for everyone. It's amazing how much he looks just as he did back then, except for his beautiful white hair that was then blonde. Sincere condolences to his family and all who loved Harold. Blessings to you all during your time of grieving.

I was so sorry to hear about Harold's death. We played basketball together at US Grant together.
In 1960, our team did so good that we surprised most teams. Our team did not have one individual that lead the team. We were many players that were in excellent shape and played together. Harold was the leading scorer many nights while others were on other nights. We played together. No one expected us to play in the state tournament but we did as a team. I am proud to have played with Harold and to have known him. I am sorry that I could not be at his services. Joe Gibbon

In our Senior Picture, Harold is standing next to me smiling as usual, I first met Harold at US Grant, grades 7-12, in a history class., My senior year was the best year of my life. Harold, Gary Didlock and myself, started running around together, we would go to Wilkerson's on SW 44th, cruise around town, and go back to my house and play ping-pong till bedtime. Sometimes we would go to a movie, one in particular, "Some Like it Hot", Harold and I laughed out of our seats. In study hall Harold and I would go to the library and get magazines and read Dennis the Menace cartoons and laugh until the librarian would remove us from the library. For our 50 year HS Reunion, I asked Harold to bring his fantastic record collection, which he did. I know you are truly going to miss him and hope this brings great comfort to you. Sincerely Bruce Miller

In our class picture Harold is next to me smiling as usual. My senior year was the greatest year in my life up to that point in 1960 thanks in part to Harold. I first met Harold in a History class when he moved to Grant(Grades 7-12) Harold , Gary Vidlock, a Basketball player, a me a wrestler started hanging out. We would go to Wilkerson's on SW 44, then cruise, and then go to my house to play ping pong until bedtime. We would also go to movies: Harold and I died laughing Some Like It Hot with Marilyn Monroe. During the week during study hall Harold and I would go to the library and read magazines with Dennis The Menace Cartoons and share them and laugh. For our 50 year Reunion I ask Harold if he would play his fantastic record collection, which he did. I hope this helps in your time of grieving and puts a smile on your face. I will be attending the service for my friend.

Harold Bunch was the quintessential good neighbor. He looked after everyone on the block. We have many fond memories of him, and one of my favorites is once I forgot to let him know we were leaving town, he called me on my cell phone and gave me a good talkin' to about letting him know our whereabouts so he didn't have to worry about us. I didn't forget again. He will be sorely missed on our block. Rest In Peace Dear Friend.
