Genevieve “Joyce” Beauregard (Nunes), age 78, of Moore, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Grace Living Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

She was born in Newport, Rhode Island to the late John F. and Dorothy (Matoes) Nunes. Joyce graduated from Rogers High School in Jamestown, Rhode Island in 1957. She was married to the late Robert A. Beauregard on August 1, 1959 in Jamestown.

Joyce was a devout Christian. She attended Saint Andrews Catholic Church for over 30 years and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed helping others, music, singing, old movies and the I Love Lucy series. Joyce loved caring for her husband, her four children and adored spending time with her five grandchildren.

She leaves her four children, Tammy (Jim) Neuman, Dawn (Jimmy) Cannon, Jodie (Toby) Huddleston, and Brett Beauregard; her brother, Robert (June) Nunes, her sister, Ellen (Jim) O’Connell, her five grandchildren, Cory (Megan) Cannon, Meagan Cannon, Katelyn, Koryn and Kayley Hughes, and her great grandchild, Jude Cannon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Resthaven Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. The family would like to express thanks for the wonderful care given by Good Shepherd Hospice and Grace Living Center of Norman, Oklahoma.
