February 25, 2017 brought to a close 87 years of a wonderfully lived life for Geneva May Tullis. She was born February 13, 1930 in Clinton, OK to Herbert and Lydia Herren. Geneva grew up in Leedey, OK and attended school there as well. On February 19, 1948, Geneva married the love of her life, Richard Tullis. The couple moved to Oklahoma City to begin the newest chapter of their lives together. Geneva was employed with McKesson and Robins for many years. After retirement, she and Richard moved to Eufaula and remained there until Richard’s death in 1982. Geneva then moved back to Oklahoma City to be closer to her daughter. In her free time, she loved to watch OU and the Oklahoma City Thunder play, and was an avid reader. Geneva will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Richard; sisters, Nadine, Vilet, and Wanda; and brother, Harold. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughter, Donna Tullis; brother, George Herren; sisters: Mary Jo An Cook, Nina Newcomb, and Jerry Basler; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1-8pm Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home. A celebration of Geneva’s life will be held 10am Wednesday at the chapel at Resthaven, with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, OK.
