Dora Helen Harrell was born December 7, 1931 in Allen’s Chapel, TN to Ernest and Ola Fuson. She graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro, TN in 1950. She was married to William Harrell, Sr. for 21 years and had two children, Bill and Jennifer. Dora was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She traveled extensively with her husband during his service in the United States Air Force. In 1991, Dora relocated to Oklahoma to live near her daughter, Jennifer. Later in life, she developed Alzheimer’s and spent the last years of her life battling this disease.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Harrell, Sr.; brother, James Fuson; and sister, Ernestine Fuson. She is survived by: son, William Harrell, Jr., of Springfield, MO; daughter, Jennifer Harrell of Edmond; sister, Hilda Wood of Harvey, LA; brother, Donald Pedigo of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Ashley and Lauren Hill; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Dora’s life will be held 2pm Saturday, December 9 in the Chapel at Resthaven. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Resthaven Funeral Home, resthavenokc.com
