DeAnna Jean Stonebraker, 74, was called home to Heaven to join the Angels on December 30, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. DeAnna was born on February 15, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Jim C. and Oletha Lahoma Wimpy. After a brief courtship of three weeks, DeAnna married Robert Earl Stonebraker on February 26, 1961, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. On June 25, 1966, DeAnna gave birth to their first son, Robert Darin, and exactly two years later Scot C. followed. In her spare time, DeAnna enjoyed baking and experimenting with recipes that she passed down to her children and grandchildren. DeAnna had a talent for gardening that could be witnessed in the flower beds surrounding her home, which was filled with works by Thomas Kinkade, several Pegasus figurines, and even more pictures of her family. DeAnna’s greatest joy was being “Nana” to all of her grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents; son, Robert Darin Stonebraker; and sister, LaDona Gayle King. DeAnna is survived by husband, Robert Stonebraker; brother, Jimmy Dale Wimpy; son, Scot Stonebraker (Tinna); grandchildren, Kaleb Stonebraker (Christina), Kelsey Stonebraker, Lacey Grim (Jon), and Miranda Stonebraker; great-grandchild, Darin Stonebraker; nephews, Seth King and James Stovall (Robin); niece, Connie Rushing (Keith), and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services to celebrate DeAnna's life will be held at The Chapel at Resthaven at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 with internment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
