After 91 years of a life well lived Lavonne Crawford went home to be with her Lord surrounded by her family in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born to James and Annie Miller in Oklahoma City. She married Bud Crawford in 1941 and spent 71 years married until his death in 2012. Lavonne enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, sewing, canning, but especially enjoyed picking black berries with her grandchildren and taking them on adventures during the summer. She was a former member of Woodcrest Baptist Church and a recent member of Trinity Baptist. Lavonne was devoted to following her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lavonne is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Folsom; daughter in law, Janet Crawford; grandchildren, Rhonda Starkey, Curtis Folsom, Deborah Cahwee, Karla Prewitt, and Jimmy Crawford; twelve great grandchildren; and fifteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; son, Jim Crawford; parents James and Annie Miller; and one son in law, Jimmy Folsom. Services to celebrate Lavonne’s life will be held at The Chapel at Resthaven at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
