December 10, 2017 brought to a close 38 beautiful years of life for Christy Dianne Mericle. She and her twin sister Misty were born December 17, 1978 in Oklahoma City to Brenda (Argo) Duncan and Mike White.
Christy’s heart was like that of none other. She had a passionate love for teaching children with special needs, and she enjoyed watching them grow and develop in their own way. Christy loved to read and growing vegetables in her garden. She will always be remembered for her crafty abilities and her love of music, as well as bringing home the occasional stray pet she had rescued. She loved bringing everyone together through her love for cooking and baking. Christy had a love for life and enjoyed every moment with her family.
Christy’s memory will live vibrantly in the hearts of her husband, Marvin Mericle (J.R.); her son and daughter, Collin and Annaleah Mericle; mother, Brenda Duncan; father, Mike White; her sister and brother, Misty Thompson and Kevin White; two nieces and one nephew; and a host of other family and friends.
In Christy’s honor, the family has requested that you consider making donations this holiday season to children in need. Whether it is toys for a toy drive or school supplies for kiddos in need, she would want you to share your joy with them.
Services to celebrate Christy's life will be 10:00am Friday, December 15, 2017 in the Chapel at Resthaven. She will be laid to rest lakeside at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
